Effective date: July 2, 2026
Kidu is a baby care diary for parents. We designed it to be private by default: all your data stays on your device. Kidu has no user accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Everything you record in Kidu — your baby's profile (name, date of birth, photos, measurements), sleep, feeding, diaper, medication, vaccination, growth and diary entries — is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers (we do not operate any servers), and we cannot see it.
Payments for Kidu Premium are processed by Apple through your App Store account. To validate subscriptions, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and purchase receipt information. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely to unlock your subscription. We never see your payment details.
Reminders (e.g., sleep or medication reminders) are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not involve any network communication.
Kidu is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. Information about your child is entered by you and remains on your device under your control.
You can export your data as a CSV file from the app settings at any time. Deleting the app permanently removes all data stored by Kidu on your device.
If we ever change how Kidu handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
